Cornell University’s main news channel, the Cornell Chronicle, was the primary driver for the New York State Awareness Campaign. The following examples highlight the long-form, multimedia stories designed to increase user engagement and public awareness of Cornell’s significant positive impact in every county of New York state. In-house media relations partners pitched the stories to small to large external outlets to boost the campaign’s earned media efforts. Strategic Communications and Government Relations unit partners contributed direction and insights, creating a holistic, 360-degree view of all strategic communications opportunities.
